Thoughts: You know, I never really liked the story of Beauty and the Beast. I don’t think I ever paid attention, why was Belle in the Beasts house in the first place? As I was reading this and Hunter (sexy name btw) thought up a plan to get Gretchen under his roof, I thought hey, that’s diabolical but smart. How did Beast do it in the Disney rendition?

I’d like to think that there are people out there like Gretchen who see scars as a story and an adventure and not hideous grotesque things to be ashamed of. I liked Gretchen all flirty and whatnot but she could be a little insensitive at times. I loved Hunter, sweet caring, scarred ~~virgin~~ billionaire Hunter. They were great as a couple, the banter, the sex, everything (mostly) was on par.

Can we talk about the sex for a second? Once shit got started, shit got started, I swear I was reading page and chapter after chapter of sex, but it didn’t take away from the plot. The sex kind of was the plot. All I’m saying is that, there was a lot of it, but it didn’t seem to overshadow the more important plot line.

I enjoyed reading a female being so aggressive sexually. It was empowering.

P.S. Did I mention that these books are funny! I find myself bursting out loud with laughter in very inappropriate places.

And then came the train wreck of sister. Where the heck did they pick this chick up? Picture this a small get-together (BIG DEAL) of 10 in a mansion all nice and cozy, scarred Hunter with a beautiful redhead on his arm. Love is in the air. Enter the hot mess of a little twin sister of Audrey, Daphne. And what do you think this hot mess of a train wreck did? She called sweet sensitive Hunter names: ~~Scarface, Quasimodo~~ I wanted to punt her! My hatred of her started RIGHT there. And fuel just kept adding to the fire straight into the next book.

Daphne…smh I could not for the life of me stand this woman, and in the next book I hate her even more!
