“God damn it,Billy. One fucking gesture would be nice. I’m a major fan of flowers.”

Much later, just before the wedding ceremony.. 

“Reese Carroll. You are not allowed in here.”

‘I don’t need to come in. I just want to hear her.”

Joey looks back at me and then his eyes lose focus.”God damn it, Billy.””

 

 

 

This was the second book in the Sweet Addiction series and “God damn it, Billy” has to be my favorite line from both.

I don’t know why he’d pay that much to break a door, but I’m going to tell him you’re game. We can always get it fixed later. I didn’t realize prostitutes made so much money for weird stuff. I thought they gave happy endings. I’m in the wrong business. I should be a pimp.”

I groan loudly at my dad as he goes back to his phone call.
