Thoughts: I don’t understand why there is going to be another book.
We all knew Logan loves Sam it’s not news, Sam knew it too she just didn’t want to admit it.
Even so, I don’t understand what could possibly happen in the next book.
Sam promised Mason she wouldn’t turn to Logan when’s she hurting so a repeat of that night on his lap won’t happen. Is Mason supposed to be threatened by Logan? Is that why he’s tried to shut up everyone who could tell Sam what she already knows?
This book was confusing enough on its own. I’ve read a few reviews where they were praising Tijan’s genius twists. They weren’t genius and they weren’t twists. I saw them coming a mile away. Seriously.
Obvious not Genius:
– Kate’s a dumb bitch and dumb bitches get what’s coming to them. She’s been warned by Mason about what he’s going to do, why is it a surprise or considered genius when he does what he said he’ll do all along? I don’t get it.
– Budd Bourdous is an asshole gorilla who gets what all asshole gorillas have coming
hardcore jail time How he ends up there doesn’t take a rocket scientist either.
– Tate, another dumb bitch who needs to leave, but leaving was the reason she opened her big mouth in the first place, even though we ALL, even Sam, knew what was going to come out of it.
Sam, word of advice: not saying something doesn’t make it any less real
With all the drama going on I had to put the book down a couple of times just to catch my mind up on who’s who and who’s doing what. There was so much deflecting and stalling. Tijan is not one to beat the bush, sometimes I wish she’d just get to the point and stop drawing it out, my mind couldn’t hold on to what was happening with all the fillers.
After finally getting some insight into Mason’s head and realizing just how much he loves Sam, I’m even more pissed that there’s that stupid cliffhanger.
I don’t want to read about a love triangle
Now I have to read the next book because this cliffhanger ending just will not do. Take your time December I’m in no hurry for more drama or a stupid love triangle
Last Line: “Fuck.”
